How To Make a Good "About Us" Page For Your Website

By Yasmin Ffion Scott  |
The 'About Us' page is a vital part of any website. It is actually one of the most visited pages of any and every website. Think about it - if you want to find out about a company, organisation or individual, it is probably the first page you look on their website.
Therefore, one of the first impressions you can make on a potential consumer is from your 'About Us' page. Fortunately, this is good news for everyone, especially because it is one of the best pages on your website for you to truly personalise and get creative with.
We have all seen good 'About Us' pages, and we've all seen bad ones equally. Therefore, the initial question here is: What actually makes a good 'About Us' page?
Be Unique
Firstly, we definitely believe it should be memorable.
The 'About Us' pages that we all remember are the ones that truly stood out to us: perhaps the page was funny, entertaining, used a lot of good imagery, or anything else that made it memorable.
Whatever it is, find the unique points of your business and let it shine creatively in your 'About Us'. Depending on your business' style, you can make it work to create an 'About Us' page that stands out against other businesses in your field.
Also, bear in mind that your consumers will appreciate a company that doesn't take itself too seriously. If you show a little humour, and uniqueness, through your 'About Us', then it reveals a quirky side to your business that will appeal.
Personalise Your Page
The second thing to remember when you're creating a good and effective 'About Us' page is to personalise it enough, to suit you and your business. It should contain information that would relate to your users and consumers. Personalisation will also help to show the humane side behind your business and brand; depending on how much information you are prepared to share.
However, if you believe that you are a business that doesn't want to reveal any personal information about you, or the people behind the company, then there is still a way to personalise your brand through your 'About Us'. Think like a worldwide brand, and reveal the intricate details about your company: for example, show how your business came to be, and reveal other interesting snippets that only your true fans would care to learn.
Tell Your Story
If your business has a particularly interesting, or unusual, back story relating to how it came about, then that would also be a fun way to make the most of your 'About Us' page alone.
Reveal your story - the how, why, and what your business ultimately stands for. This is particularly effective if you have a brand message for your consumers, or believe that your company personally has something to offer that differs from the rest of the market.
Although, always keep to the fact that your 'About Us' page shouldn't be too lengthy. You don't want to overload your consumers with too much information, or, indeed, bore them off the page. You want to keep your page eye-catching and interesting. It is advisable to break up any large bodies of text or information with fun images, or a particularly pleasing colour scheme.
Create a Business Timeline
Another fun way to reveal all about your business, which won't be too wordy or uninteresting, is through an interactive timeline.
This is also a good way to easily showcase significant times that your business expanded, and highlights for your company. It keeps the tone positive, and focuses on how successful your business has become over the timeline.
Also, if you make it interactive, you can allow your users to click through to read more about the milestones that they find interesting. This will then entice them to read more and spend more time with your website and company.
Be Clear and Concise
Asides from inserting fun and your own uniqueness into your 'About Us' page, you must remember that the main point of the page is to explain who you are. The page must, most of all, be informative and clear.
The 'About Us' page should explain succinctly what your company does, and what the goal is, but in a fun and relatable manner. Don't overdo it with the explanation, however - the best 'About Us' pages are concise and simple, making it easy for the audience to understand your business and your intentions.
Another solid way to inform your consumers helpfully is through using a few testimonials. Ask your previous clients for these and feedback - and remember to assign their names and authority to the quotes. Testimonials will make your company look more legitimate and successful, as well as quietly boasting about the strength of your consumer base.
The People Behind Your Business
If your company wants to be more friendly and relatable, then you may not necessarily want to focus on your business and goals. In that case, it may be more appealing to focus your 'About Us' page on you and your staff members. Especially if you have a small team, focusing on your staff can be a very effective way to appeal to your consumers, as they can see the people working behind your business.
You don't have to include a lot of information about anyone in particular, and certainly not any really personal details. However, if you get the staff members to write short paragraphs about themselves, revealing a quirky snippet about themselves or what they do in the team, then this will be enough information.
It is also essential to use photos for every staff member, and make the images look fun and unique, in order to truly reflect the feel and personality of the company. Interesting images compliment any 'About Us' page.
We hope that you have enjoyed our examples, and ideas for how to create a good 'About Us' page. Check out your own page - do you feel inspired to make the little changes that make it really stand out?
All 'About Us' pages are different, and they should be designed to suit your business' personality! There are no strict rules, just remember to spend time and don't ignore the importance of this page.

Top Membership Sites Will Take the Local Community Online

One of the best attributes of B.L.R. Studios is that our prices are competitive, affordable and we have the ability to work with EVERYONE.

By Devin Dozier  |
Building top membership sites can be an exciting, entertaining and profitable adventure, you just need to creatively shift your local community online. A process that can help revive your community.
It's time that we actually take a few steps back and absorb what's going on in the world around us. Surveys are telling us that over 84% of adults connect to the Internet for at least 4 hours every day. Showing that Internet usage is on a steady increase. It takes an even larger jump when looking at younger generations.
We've reorganized our lives around the conveniences of the Internet. Shopping, information, networking are all at our finger tips. But have we done a good job bridging the Internet with our local communities?
In my own local community, the businesses and residents have definitely seen better times. Many businesses are hanging on for dear life as potential customers rush to spend their money on the Internet. These businesses, who used to have just one or two local competitors, now have to compete against thousands of online businesses who can provide similar services / products for less.
Are we sacrificing a unique community connection for discount prices? Do we no longer care about the "personalized service" that small local businesses can provide? Doesn't that count for something?
People are also spending less time actively engaging with their community. Video games, movies, television and the Internet are consuming more and more of people's time. The conveniences have made parents numb to the fact that their kids hardly go outside and play. Better yet, that they don't go outside and play with their kids. Is this how we want to use technology, to suffocate our core relationships with people we love?
So what's the solution? We need to take our local community online, which will create top membership sites that will be great for our local community.
What if you could build a membership site that would promote the talents of residents within your local community. They could actively participate by adding their own unique entertaining content. In addition you allow residents to use your membership site to produce new events, promotions & campaigns. Businesses could partner with the residents and even employ their talents to help promote its services and products. Just by doing that, businesses will be able to connect on a deeper level with the network of those partner residents. Think about it, most people have at least 400 fans and followers that they would share a "Local commercial" with if they were in or helped created.
Having a local community membership website would benefit everyone; residents could showcase talents & skills, businesses could incorporate locals into their promotional efforts giving further reach and you would be the owner of one of the best top membership sites possible.
ULiveWV.org, a local community website for the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, is testing this concept right now. With an official launch planned in 2015, ULiveWV.org aims to build an online community using the talents of its local residents. The goal is to create unique events, entertainment and productions that the whole community can participate in.

5 Content Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs

By Jinger Jarrett  |
Although there are many types of content you can create to promote your business, you want to create content that will help you build effective promotions. You want to create content that will go viral. Viral marketing is the most effective way to market because it gives you credibility.
1. Articles
Although article writing isn't as effective as it once was, it is still a very effective way to market your business if you want to demonstrate your expertise. The key to getting your article writing campaigns right is to do two things.
First, you want to do your keyword research and make sure you choose the right keywords. You don't want to use keywords that no one is searching for. The second thing to do is to post your articles on the most popular article sites. It's better to have one unique article on each of the top 50 sites than it is to have 50 articles on one site.
2. Documents
Document sites are highly ranked, and they give you an opportunity to share your knowledge with those who are looking for the products or services you have to offer. It is another chance for you to brand yourself as an expert and also recycle your content. It is much easier and faster to format your article as a document than it is to write another article, and it also allows you to market on additional high traffic websites.
3. Videos
With the right tools, it is also possible to take your articles and to recycle them into content you can share in a different way. It also allows you to share your content on additional high traffic sites in a format that your potential customers may prefer to consume. The internet is largely visual, and visual content allows you to do a better job of communicating your ideas.
4. Blog Posts
There are actually two different ways to use blog posts to promote yourself. The first is by using content curation to create blog posts that rank high in the search engines. Make sure you do keyword research to help you find the right content and then write content that ranks well.
The second way to use blog posts is to do guest posting. Guest posting is where you find other blogs and submit posts you have written so you may promote your business. Use Google Blogs to help you find high ranking blogs based on your topic.
5. Images/Graphics
There is a difference between images and graphics. An image usually has a quote and then the URL of your site. It offers an inspiring photo to emphasize the message. It is simple and quickly creates a message that has the potential to go viral.
A graphic is more involved. It uses pictures or images combined with text to communicate a process, and its purpose is to communicate information. An example of this would be a presentation of a sales process like a sales funnel. There are sites where you can post your images for maximum effect while there are other sites that you may post your graphics to demonstrate your expertise.
The easiest way to make the most out of these techniques is to recycle your content. Focus on your expertise and then use these techniques to communicate that expertise.

General Strategies on Twitter

B.L.R. Studios
Affordable Websites
save money $$$ on websites with us at B.L.R. Studios.

By Georg Grey  |
In order for you to build a lasting influence on Twitter you have to do three things:
a.) entertain
b.) inform
c.) pursue your agenda
Entertain
On Twitter, you want to be different, you want to be remembered, you want to provide your followers with a diversity of tweets. There is nothing more tedious than a Republican bashing the Democrats or a Democrat bashing the Republicans in every tweet. Doing that, or something similar, makes you very predictive, and the only response you elicit from your followers is "Ah, here he/she goes again." They might not even read your updates, because they at least feel that they know what they are about anyway.
People (and not only those on Twitter) love to be entertained. There is nothing better than a chuckle that escapes you when you see a funny update. And you want those funny updates on YOUR timeline.
I've had very many users telling me over the years that, when they feel down or are simply having a bad day, they go to my profile page, because they know that there they will find something that will make them laugh. That's what you call in marketing terms 'brand recognition', and that's where you want to be headed.
So create those funny updates, short proverbs, things that don't have anything to do with you, your political leanings or your agenda. Your followers are going to love you for it.
Inform
In order for you to be successful on Twitter you have to offer something of value to your followers, and by the nature of Twitter (and the Internet per se) this added value comes in the form of information.
I'm sure there is some area in your life where you are an expert.
An expert is not defined by diplomas and official documents. I'm saying this because you might believe that you don't qualify for the 'title' of expert. You are, I'm sure of it. And if you are not, become one. Find that area that interests YOU and research it. Give format to your knowledge.
In other words, define your niche.
And then offer that information to your followers - they're going to love you for it.
Twitter is about getting and providing information of all types, that's what makes it so attractive. Every major (and not so major) news outlet on the surface of this earth has a presence on Twitter. They provide you basically with a headline in their tweet and a link to the article that covers the story. As with a headline in a physical newspaper in the offline world, it's supposed to entice you to read the whole story.
You want to come across as an expert in your chosen field, which implies that you are knowledgeable and know your subject in depth. And that should be confirmed by the kinds of 'headlines' you put in your updates, and the accompanying link that leads to a website or a blog that covers the topic in a manner that's consistent with your kind of thinking. It does not have to be your own blog, or your own website. Let's take again the example of you being an SEO specialist. You obviously know many of the relevant blogs or people who deal with SEO.
So whenever you read something interesting, put it out there, in your timeline. Choose a catchy headline (or, lacking that, simply use the title of the blog entry), and include the link to that blog.
You might ask, hey, why should I drive traffic to somebody else's blog? In the final analysis I'm here to pursue my agenda. But that's exactly what you are doing, see, you provide your followers with information about the subject that's close to your (and their) hearts, and they will thank you for it.
Besides, to start with you might not be in a position to put your own blog out there.
Pursue Your Agenda
Let me make it clear here that there is absolutely nothing wrong with having an agenda on Twitter. Everybody has one, whether they are aware of it or not, online and offline. I just don't believe it has to be a hidden one, particularly from yourself.
So grab a pen and paper, move away from your computer for a couple of minutes, and write down on that paper your 'why'. 'Why' are you investing time and effort on your Twitter account, what goals do you want to accomplish?
Be clear about it, be concise, don't feel awkward. See yourself as on a mission, and write down that mission statement for your activities on Twitter!
And then promote that! Yes, it's as simple as that, every four or five tweets it's perfectly alright to say in one form or another 'Hey, this is what I want!'
So get it out there! Put out the link to the book you've just published and are so proud of. Put out the link to the crowd funding campaign you've just started in order to help small bookstores in your area. Invite everybody to join your newsletter, if you have one. Heck, go out and ask everybody to vote Democrats, Republicans, whoever is out there. It is your agenda, and it's yours to promote.
You see, and that's why this strategy works so well, people don't mind at all to see what you have to offer or what you want them to buy, as long as it is embedded in a stream of tweets that yes, includes entertainment and information. In other words, tweets that are interesting.

Build Your Business With a Free Tutorial

B.L.R. Studios
Affordable Websites
If you are looking for a new website come see us at B.L.R. Studios we can design a website the way you want.

By Terri Seymour  |
People love to get free information so using a free tutorial to share your knowledge is a great way to promote yourself and your business. By doing this, you will be establishing yourself as an expert and building your reputation. Then when people need products and/or services, you will be the one they trust and believe.
Divide your tutorial into lessons, one for each day of the tutorial or ecourse. Once you get your lessons written up you want to set them up individually on an autoresponder. There are many autoresponders available for free and for a fee. Some hosts may have autoresponders available as well. WordPress also has autoresponder plugins.
Let's say you own a home décor and furniture website store. You could set up an ecourse on how to successfully paint a piece of furniture. Your lessons would be something like this:
Lesson 1: Choosing the Right Paint
Lesson 2: Preparing the Piece to Be Painted
Lesson 3: Painting the Piece
Lesson 4: Maintaining the Finished Look
After your lessons are completed, you can set them up to go out each day in a row or separate them by a day or two. It would depend on how many lessons you have and how long you want the tutorial to last.
Separating the information into lessons works better than sending all the info in one mailing because it keeps your name and business fresh in the mind of the potential customer.
When writing your lessons, sprinkle in information about your business and what you offer but try to make it fit into the tutorial so it doesn't appear too. Offer special discounts for signing up for your ecourse/tutorial.
Be sure to place your contact email in each and every lesson and let the reader know you are readily available if they have any questions or comments.
Another good idea is to have a preceding thank you note with an introduction of yourself and your business along with a summary of the tutorial. This would precede the first lesson. And then once the course is finished you would have another thank you going out encouraging them to visit your site for much more information and to contact you if they have any questions.
You could also let them know about your special deal or discount they receive for taking the course. Be sure to add your social media links so they can easily follow you.
Make them fun as well by adding trivia or little games along with the lesson. Keeping people interested can sometimes take work but it is well worth the time and effort.
If you have any other tutorials, list them as well and be sure to ask them to sign up for your mailing list. These details will go a long way in building the foundation and relationship needed to gain the customer's trust and patronage.
Once your tutorial is complete you want to start promoting it so people can start signing up.
Add it to your email and networking group signatures:
FREE 4-day tutorial on painting furniture
place your URL here
Promote it on your social media pages and promote it often.
Offer it to your newsletter subscribers and post it on your website/blog.
Advertise it with ad swaps.
Put it on your business card and/or flyers.
Integrate it into your resource box when guest posting or submitting content.
Tutorials can be educational and fun so use them to your advantage and let them help increase your sales and build your business.

What Every Business Ought to Know About Local Business Listing Optimization

B.L.R. Studios
Affordable Websites
Come and check out my site and see what we can do for you.

By Newman Ramirez  |
Adding important information about your business in local business listings can help your tech-savvy customers find your business. According to research, 25% of online queries include name of city or state, which means customers are using the World Wide Web while looking for local businesses instead of relying on printed business directories. This is a good thing for businesses with local operations as well as for businesses who want to improve their reach in the local market.
Google is the biggest search engine, and so its algorithms are important to understand if you want to gain more advantage with your local business listing optimization. Among the most recent updates of Google that should be taken into consideration is the fact that listings for Google Places are putting more emphasis on the title, keywords, and website description. But even if you don't have a website, you can still rank higher on Google Places as this local business listing optimization is entirely independent of your ranking on the Google search engine results.
The introduction of advertising on Google Places initiated better competition in the area of local business listing optimization. Below are some of the effective strategies for optimizing your business in local listings.
Conventional Search Engine Optimization
Conventional search engine optimization (SEO) includes several basic elements used to achieve a high ranking in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERP). This includes creating webpage title, H-tags, meta tags, structure of the URL, Alt text in pictures, etc.
Keywords research is often used in conventional SEO. Many small business owners usually think they know the most effective keywords to use. This strategy could decrease the number of potential customers. With proper keyword research, you can increase your chance of getting a better rank on Google, and it begins with searching for the best keywords to use. Keyword research is an integral part of SEO as using the wrong keywords will only waste your time and effort because you are aiming to rank high in areas that you should not.
Meta Tags
Local business listing optimization through meta tags can help your online marketing campaigns. Meta Data is an effective way of providing information about your website to search engines. Meta data includes meta description, title and H tags. Despite the updates in the algorithms, meta tags are still essential in SEO so it still makes sense to use this strategy for your local digital marketing.
It is also important to include address and contact number in your website. Google and other search engines are now trying to collect data from websites to provide information to online users. To help your business become more visible through local business listing optimization, you need to add your business name, contact number, and email address on the website.
Local Citation
Another strategy to optimize your local business is to add your website in local citation pages. Google also reviews the information provided by blogs, article sites, and online directories. You must add your website to local citations sites to build more credibility. Citation certifies the existence of the business in that particular locality.

Web Content Writing and Writing Blog Posts With SEO Optimization

B.L.R. Studios
Affordable Websites
For a website built your way for a lower cost than most web design companies charge. Please check out my site and decide for yourself .

By Peter Nisbet  |
Web content writing is an important skill. When writing blog posts or content for your website, SEO optimization is just as important as content quality. Both count! The quality of your web content is critical to the success of your website or blog in both of these respects.
Many websites contain little other than graphics or photos and wonder why they never get a high ranking on Google - and let's face it; Google is the place to be! OK, Bing is not bad but neither Bing nor Yahoo is in the same class as Google. If you want to make it online, you must have at least a Page #2 ranking on Google - within the first 20 top ranked web pages.
SEO Optimization and Google Ranking
SEO optimization is important factor in your ranking. Google lists individual web pages and posts, not entire websites or blogs. Every one of your pages or posts must offer good content to readers. Each complements the other, and a site with one great page and another 10 pages totally devoid of content might pull that first page way down in the rankings.
The reason why article writers, or article ghostwriters are they are often called, are so important is that they can not only write great content for you that is well optimized without excessive use of keywords, but also because they understand what Google is looking for. At least the best of them do!
Those article writers that understand this will help you with the general SEO on your site in addition to giving you content that will display your authoritative knowledge of your niche or subject. Google is very keen on authority sites, and if yours doesn't display an expert knowledge, then forget a high ranking.
Write Your Own Blog Posts and Web Content
However - and this is the subject of this article - if they can write it for you, why can't you do it for yourself? If you have a passion for your subject then that passion will show through in your writing. What do you believe your readers would prefer?
A. Grammatically correct writing, using an academic-style approach to your topic that presents the facts of the topic in a sterile but correct and perfectly written manner, or:
B. Web content or blog posts written by somebody that displays a deep passion for their subject, even though the grammar might be dodgy and the spelling maybe not quite right. You can see they know their topic, but might not be able to write about it using perfect language?
Personally, I prefer the latter, although some prefer the first option. Many people get their hackles raised when they see badly written articles or web content even if the message is clear and compelling! So what's the solution - A or B?
Web Content Writing is for Readers - Not Search Engines
You have likely read or heard this several times. You should write for your readers and not the search engines, but in practice that is not quite true! Your readers might prefer web content writing that shows passion, even to the extent of ignoring the various errors in grammar and possible overuse of keywords.
The reason people use keywords too much is to get themselves a high ranking on Google for these keywords. The problem is that Google is wise to this, and your web pages and blogs will suffer if you use that approach. Search engine algorithms, crawlers or spiders, whatever you call them, cannot read passion - just character strings.
So - why not use both? Why not write in a passionate way about your subject, but also present it with correct grammar and spelling relevant to your target market? Web content writing need not be a special skill for many people, but if you want to combine A and B, why not have your own words written in a compelling but grammatically correct manner that meets the expectations of all your readers - and potential customers if you have a product or service to sell?
Writing Blog Posts Yourself - or Subcontract It
You can achieve this in only two ways: learn how to do it yourself, or have somebody write it for you. If your first language is not English, then you will likely have a problem. It is unfortunate for many that English is the main language used online - unless you are Chinese. If so, even you will have to present your website or blog in English if you want to take advantage of what the entire world can offer you in visitors, readership and sales.
Web Content Writing and SEO Optimization: Conclusion
To recap: it is very important that your web content is written in a way that your visitors can understand. However, it must also enable Google and other major search engines to establish the meaning of your pages and blog posts. This is fundamental to the SEO optimization of your website or blog.
If you feel confident doing this yourself, then do so. If you do not then have it done for you. Web content writing is a skill that some have and many do not. Writing blog posts is not difficult, but SEO optimization involves a deeper and more fundamental understanding of search engines. Both your SEO optimization and the quality of your web content writing are the most important aspects of your website or blog! Make them good - for your readers and for Google!

How to Measure Your Marketing Efforts Online

B.L.R. Studios
Affordable Websites

if you would like info on my web design company you can follow my link at. http://www.blrstudios101.com

By Michael Cohn  |
Capturing the analytics and ways to gauge how your content is performing is extremely important for your business. You don't have to accept the idea that your marketing efforts are just out there somewhere. That simply isn't the case. Your efforts can be measured and you can hone your marketing strategy based on the results of those efforts.
The importance of analytics of your marketing efforts
You may think that gathering the metrics (the analytics) from your marketing strategy for your brand is a nice thing to capture but that it isn't really necessary and that it doesn't really make a tremendous difference to your business. Most likely, you couldn't be more wrong. First and foremost, you can learn a great deal from the results of your marketing efforts. You can identify patterns and you can see what is working well for you and what is not working well. Then you can tweak your marketing strategy accordingly. With this in mind, you may be wondering exactly how you should go about getting that information.
  • Build your credibility before you build anything else: If you have been in business for longer than a second and a half, you understand that you will never be able to make a go of your business if you don't establish solid relationships with the people to whom you wish to sell your products and/or services at any point along the way. Once you have established the relationship with the other person, you will continue to build your credibility and trustworthiness and you will successfully position yourself within your niche as a subject matter expert. Without establishing all of those qualities, nobody will be willing to give you or your business the time of day. Once the other person finds you credible beyond all question, you will be able to really make some serious headway. There are different ways to establish your credibility relatively quickly. You can gather testimonials from various people who have worked with you. That will carry your credibility some distance. Another really effective way to establish your credibility is by demonstrating to your target audience that you have the ability to solve their problems. If you can do that, they will trust you and they will find you credible. In their minds, you know what you are talking about.

  • Make your call-to-action compelling: Surprisingly, more people than you may think will be willing to do whatever it is that you ask of them. It is actually all in the approach. If your call-to-action is compelling and it grabs the reader on a human/emotional level, they will most likely be willing to give you what you need. Just remember that whatever you do, do not try to give them the hard sell. That is the way to lose them the fastest. If that happens, they will never come back to you. You will probably not have a great deal of difficulty getting those people to buy what you are selling as long as you present the information in a way that touches them. You just need to figure out how to make that happen.

  • Put yourself in the shoes of your target audience members: It is absolutely essential that you remember that your being in business (if you have any hope or any desire to succeed) is not about how wonderful you and your business are. It is about what you can do for the other person (What's In It For Me? (WIIFM). In other words, you must be able to solve the other person's problems. If you can manage to do that, you will be in good. Try to avoid using too much jargon and make sure that your approach is genuine, sincere, and honest. The other person will greatly appreciate it.

  • Categorize your metrics in order to work with it and understand it more easily: Your marketing approach and what you do with the results of your marketing strategy should be categorized and organized in a way that works effectively for you. If you do that, you can get a great deal of benefit from the information. One of the important (and initial) things that you should do is categorize your target audience members (eventually to become clients, hopefully). Those buckets of information will come in handy at some point in the near future. The greater your understanding of the different categories, the more effective your marketing efforts will be.

  • Test your marketing material: Once you have gotten your marketing material to a point where you feel that it is the best that it will ever be, you will need to test it. As good as it probably is, you are not 100% objective about your own material. Even if you are somewhat apprehensive about testing, you should still go for it. You will be glad that you did because it will force you to improve your materials and you will become more successful.
Conclusion
Gathering metrics from the results of your marketing efforts is an extremely important part of your strategy. How else will you be able to ascertain how you are doing and what you are doing right and wrong. It isn't a good idea to rely on someone else to give you that information. You need to rely on yourself. The information is critical to your business being a raging success. Only you can identify which strategies are working for your business and which ones are not. Measuring the results of your marketing efforts is one of the few objective (scientific, if you will) ways to capture a clear understanding of the effect that your hard work is having on your business.

The internet has transformed the way things are done today. It is possible to find any kind of information you need and even make safe and secure purchases online without having to leave the comfort of your home. Considering how busy modern living can get, a large percent of the population has embraced the internet and what it can do for them. Businesses are actually turning to the internet to also run smoothly and reach out to their targeted market without having any geographical limitations or barriers.
Search engines tend to be the most helpful internet tools. They make it easy and fast to find the information you require from the internet. They basically narrow down your search to the most relevant information depending on what you are looking for from the expansive internet. Some of these search engines can also be specific to websites where those visiting the sites can find information based on specific phrases and words in the site. Others are much broader in terms of scope, but they all come with advantages which make them very popular and helpful in making life easier today.
1. Variety
This is one of the major advantages that search engines will offer you. This is considering that they all rely on lots of sources to find the needed information. You will get online results from university studies, personal blogs, websites, discussion boards, news stories and even online encyclopedias on the given topic or keyword when using the search engines. The variety will give you the options of selecting the information source you feel is most reliable and relevant to the kind of information you are looking for. You also have the liberty of using different sources to understand your subject at a deeper level.
2. Precision
This is true since the search engines give you the ability to refine your results. By including quotations and specific phrases or words, you will get results that are exactly the same as your search. The results will also include any other related options for you making it highly possible to find exactly what you are looking for. You can actually specify the web sources you wish to get your results from or even direct the search to a given geographical area for helpful results every time. This cuts down on the information amount you get and narrows down your search to the most relevant information. You will find what you need fast and easy when using a reliable search engine.
3. Organization
The third advantage of using search engines is organization. They organize individual websites and internet sites, hence creating an organized information platform. By using specific keywords, you will have your information collected and organized from the otherwise scattered internet places or web pages. You will have an easier time to use lists to find what you are looking for without spending too much of your time at it. It is easier to even locate businesses dealing with what you are looking for hence enabling easier comparisons and decision making.

Now you have a new web site for your business, Now What? How will customers find you? The most common search engine optimization practices are:
Increased Traffic
Since SEO helps you to rank high in the search results, you attract more people to your website. When is the last time you clicked to the third page of the search results? The same thing applies to many people.
Since you will be on the first or second page of search results, many people will visit your website. Too increase click through rate, you should include optimized title tags and meta descriptions.
The sleek thing about the traffic; that you get traffic from many people who are actively seeking your products or services that you are selling or marketing.
Cost Effective
SEO is an inbound method of marketing which makes it very cost-effective as you only need to spend just a generous amount of money to generate more leads. For example, research studies had shown that when you use SEO in your marketing you spend 62% less than someone who used another form of marketing. Since the traffic that you get is more qualified, you end up spending less.
Easy To Track
Who doesn't want something that he/she can easily track? SEO is easy to track with the right SEO internet marketing company services. Only the best social media marketing firms provide many detailed reports and keyword tracking tools for an all in one service. You can use an analytic tool from Google, which you can easily find online for free.
If you have an e-commerce site, you will easily see the paths that your users are taking to complete a sale. You are also able to see the keywords that the users are using to get to your site. Having this knowledge helps you to tweak your website and the content in it to attract as many people as possible.
Increased Usability
In addition to making it easy for search engines to find your site, SEO also increases the usability of your site. Since SEO helps you to make your site easy to navigate by rearranging the site's architecture, your users/customers can navigate easily on your site without any problems. Your users are also able easily to find the content that they are looking for on your site.
Also one of the most important is Social Media Optimization. That is another article because of all the information to learn.
These are some of the many benefits that you will enjoy when you optimize your new website with a professional SEO social media marketing firm. While you can optimize the site by yourself, it's wise that you seek the help of a professional SEO internet marketing or Social Media marketing company.
